Some of us are social sippers, some are closet aficionados and some of us are truly Wine Divas.  We are confident with ourselves, our lifestyle and our drink of choice.  We may melt for a good Merlot, sin for a glass of Zin, or shout for a great glass of Chardonnay.

How do you know if you are a Wine Diva?  Here are 5 signs that you are a Wine Diva

1. Is there at least one item of clothing in your wardrobe that says wine on it?  (If it has sparkles on it, give yourself an extra point).  There are many new lines of wine inspired clothes available today.  You can find everything from rhinestone “Got Wine” fitted t-shirts to “Wine Princess” nightshirts that were shown on The View.

2. Do you have a different wine glass to match your mood du jour?  With the wide selection of hand painted wine glasses available today, you can share your emotions without saying a word.  Having man trouble, use Lolita’s “Who Needs a Man?” wine glass; feeling frisky, use Lolita’s “Leopard” wine glass; not quite fitting in your skinny jeans today, use the “Kind of on a Diet” wine glass.  Each of Lolita’s hand painted wine glasses includes a wine cocktail recipe on the bottom (just in case wine alone is not enough.)

When giving a gift of wine, do you spend just as much time finding the perfect wine gift bag as you do picking out the wine?  A Wine Diva is not satisfied with just any gift bag.  Gone are the days of the boring sacks or generic wine bag designs.  Today’s Wine Divas will search out the perfect bag to give her friends.  She may choose a retro inspired canvas bag the says “Who says happy is only an hour?” or a classy black and white canvas bag that says, “Put a cork in it!” 

If you don’t meet all of the signs of being a Wine Diva, don’t worry you can always attain Wine Diva status now that you know all the characteristics.  Get your girlfriends to help.  When it comes to wine and becoming a Wine Diva, girlfriends can be a wonderful support system, lean on them (in more than one way).
